Granite Construction’s Big Rock location in California wanted to replace loaders with conveyors for stockpiling material while producing asphalt.
To avoid the lengthy state approval process for construction, the company used portable plants specced by Superior's Construction Management team. This operation produces eleven crushed rock and sand products and is capable of one million tons per year.
