Desert Aggregates – a brand new operation that started in 2019 – includes a Guardian® Horizontal Screen and a Spirit® Sand Plant in their setup. The company runs one million tons per year to produce paving materials.

Desert Aggregates chose the Spirit Sand Plant over others because of its versatility. The dewatering screens help produce material with lower water content, allowing the company to sell their products quicker.

A majority of the water is recycled to help save on costs. Lastly, the hydrocyclones put the fines back into the sand to be used for paving material instead of sending them to the pond as waste.
