Gila River Sand & Gravel: Blackwater Plant

The USGA's 16th largest sand and gravel producer, Gila River Sand & Gravel is opening the gates to their recently commissioned Blackwater Plant in Coolidge, Arizona. The 1,000 TPH operation is considered the fastest-producing wash plant in the Southwest United States.
- Surge tunnel feeds the plant or can move raw material to a truck load-out
- (2) 8x20 wet horizontal screens fed by clay-scrubbing blade mills
- (2) Versatile sand plants outfitted with cyclones and dewatering screens
- Flexible production of C33 concrete sand and mortar sand
The project was sold and will be serviced by Kimball Equipment Company while the equipment manufacturing and turnkey construction was managed by Superior Industries.
